About Western X

SERIES SYNOPSIS
On the plains of a desert wasteland, a man known only as X is on the verge of death. Among a pile of dead
bodies he awakens, with no memories of his past and hunted by an unknown enemy, he struggles to
uncover the truth behind his identity; this is the beginning of his journey. Each episode uncovers some truth
about who he is and sheds light on the strange world he finds himself in.

OVERVIEW
Western X is a genre bending gritty supernatural western that combines realism with surrealism to create a
world that's unlike our own. The world that we know no longer exists; it is quiet and from the depths of
silence the absence of faith has climbed outward. The rise of lawlessness has opended the doorway to
destruction and has allowed evil men to reign over mankind. The myths and legends of old have returned
and a ruthless malevolent army marches; they feed on fear and destroy hope.

The land has been ravaged by a biblical plague of apocalyptic proportions. Most of the world is controlled by
a ruthless military force known as the Black Coats; this militant army is led by a man known as the General.
No one can remember a time when the Black Coats had not ruled. Most of the population have become
second-rate citizens with very little freedom; left alone if they pledge obedience to the General's banner.

Within the last century, a self proclaimed prophet of god, Diego Duran, has attempted to wage war against
the instiable blood thirsty army, but was killed after a decade of civil war. The war left many split as to where
their loyalties lie, leaving many to flee to the outlying towns where the Black Coat presence is minimal.
